Welcome to Cults Library Trust, a new charitable organisation working to reopen Cults Library and transform it into a vibrant community hub for learning, culture and connection.
Libraries sit at the heart of strong communities. When Cults Library closed in 2023, the loss was felt across Lower Deeside, but the community’s commitment to its library never disappeared. Cults Library Trust was formed to restore this much-loved space and give it a new future.
Our vision goes beyond reopening the doors. We aim to create a welcoming, inclusive place that supports literacy, lifelong learning, wellbeing and community life, from reading and studying to events and social connection. Alongside this, we deliver outreach projects across the local area, bringing library services and cultural activities directly into the community.
