Tax Benefits of Sponsoring a UK Charity

Cults Library Trust is a registered UK charity. In many cases, sponsorship or partnership support may be treated as a business expense for tax purposes, where it is given wholly and exclusively for business purposes and includes appropriate recognition or promotional benefits.

We recommend that organisations seek independent financial or tax advice to understand how charitable sponsorship may apply to their circumstances. We are happy to discuss recognition options in line with HMRC guidance as part of any partnership arrangement.
